Forest Lake Elementary prides itself on a technology-infused, integrated curriculum that demands academic excellence, encourages self-esteem, and promotes responsible citizenship. Students use a variety of technology resources through every aspect of the curriculum. Every classroom contains a SMART Board for interactive lessons and a “Tech Zone” with computers for individualized instruction. There is a laptop in every classroom and seven wireless laptop mobile labs for school-wide student use. Students also have access to digital storytelling labs, a state-of-the-art news studio and media center, and a Sci-Tech lab, which includes an outside weather station and 30 handheld computers equipped with probe sensors.
