Roxbury Prep students routinely excel in mathematics, despite the fact that on average more than a third of Roxbury Prep students enter the school scoring two years below grade level in math on the Stanford 9, a national test of basic academic skills. Roxbury Prep has designed the Numeracy Initiative, an intensive math program that equips its low-performing students with basic skills and challenges high-performing students to pursue advanced math. Student achievement at the school is dependent upon a positive, safe, caring, and vibrant school community. To ensure high academic standards, Roxbury Prep maintains high personal standards. The school has a dress code and enforces a strict code of conduct.
