Independent Reading Practice

Experts agree that to develop a personal connection to reading, students need a variety of books on topics that are meaningful and interesting to them! According to National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP) data, students with well-designed and well-stocked classroom libraries have better attitudes toward reading, read more, and demonstrate higher levels of reading achievement.

Scholastic books for all levels give every student an opportunity to enjoy compelling, challenging reading material regardless of his or her reading abilities.
