About Scholastic
New Zealand
Scholastic Book Clubs
Scholastic operates four Student Book Clubs and one Teachers Book Club which together reach 95% of schools in New Zealand twice a term, or eight times a year. In order for schools to operate a Book Club they must appoint a Book Club Organiser who is responsible for distributing brochures, collating orders and giving out books. Each Club offers a variety of topics, publishers and reading levels. For more information on Scholastic's different book clubs, e-mail us.

Scholastic Book Fairs

Book Fairs provide a service which enables schools to promote literacy and the sheer joy of reading by offering books to children at a moderate cost.

By purchasing the books from a Book Fair the children then assist their school in acquiring valuable resources based on a commission bonus scheme assigned to their school.

Book Fairs provide a wide selection of books that enthuse children, parents and teachers alike. Scholastic pioneered the Book Fair concept, which is dedicated to the greater literacy of all young readers. To get more information on book fairs, e-mail us.
