Saturday, November 11th @ 3 p.m. Calling all Flashlight Readers™! Ages 8+. Introducing Flashlight Readers, our dynamic book and online activity club for kids who love to read! Explore the current book selection, Charlotte's Web, on Saturday and sign up to join the club to discuss other great books with fellow reading fans!
Saturday, November 18th @ 3 p.m. Clifford's Thanksgiving Visit! All ages.Don't miss out on the chance to create arts and crafts and share a Thanksgiving story time session with Clifford! Bring your camera to take pictures with the world's most famous BIG RED DOG!
Saturday, November 25th from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Discovery Station! All ages.Cool science and crazy concoctions abound at the Discovery Station. Kids can make special effect sounds, create their own slime, and identify mysterious substances with the new Mystery Detective game.
Saturday, December 2nd from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Build Outside the Box. Ages 4+.Ingenuity, energy, and inspiration required for this super fun building activity! Also, kids will experience the latest in classic wood toys, doll houses, building blocks, trains, castles and more!
Friday, December 8th from 3-5 p.m. Read For 2007! All ages.Book-lovers of all ages can participate in Scholastic Read For 2007: Read for Life™. Join millions of children worldwide and read for at least 2,007 seconds (about 33 minutes) to celebrate the importance and joy of reading. Author Dimitrea Tokunbo will read and sign her book, Together!
Saturday, December 9th All Day! 'Tis the Season to Celebrate! All ages.Create cool, crazy, quirky letters and make a holiday card to celebrate our friends and family around the world. Kids will get to use cool products to create their own memorable card that will be hung up and displayed in The Scholastic Store throughout the holiday season! An all-day event!
The special holiday hours for the SoHo store are as follows: closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas (Nov. 23 & Dec. 25); Nov. 24-Dec. 14: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Dec. 15-23: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Dec. 24: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Dec. 31-Jan. 1: 12-5 p.m. Regular store hours for the SoHo store are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, 12-6 p.m.
Scarsdale store hours will remain regular during the holidays: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday, 12-5 p.m.
