Scholastic Inc., the global children's publishing and media company, received 12 Distinguished Achievement Awards from the Association of Educational Publishers (EdPress). Since 1964, the Awards have recognized excellence in educational publishing, growing in scope and distinction to become the highest honor in the industry. The 2004 Distinguished Achievement Awards were presented at the 41st annual awards banquet on Tuesday, June 8th at the Alexandria Mark Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia.
