Chicago,
IL (September

2005) --
Scholastic Media’s programs, including well-known and award-winning series such as The Magic School Bus®, Dear America®, and Horrible Histories™, will soon be featured on PowerMediaPlus.com, the next generation in educational media-on-demand. This will add 90 videos to the system’s growing collection of curriculum content.
“We are committed to providing top-of-the-line educational media, and we are pleased to offer Scholastic’s distinguished brands” said Kelli Campbell, Vice President of Product Development for CLEARVUE & SVE. “Educators appreciate the curriculum topics covered in the programs, and students love the lively, animated and live-action formats.”
The Scholastic programs will be digitized, segmented, and correlated to 94 state and national learning standards before being added to the PowerMediaPlus.com system later this year. As part of the system, the content can be streamed directly over the Internet, hosted locally on a master server, or downloaded to local servers or an individual’s desktop, allowing an unmatched level of custom delivery options.
“The depth of features, presentation of media, and ease of use made us comfortable offering our content on the PowerMediaPlus.com system,” said Linda Kahn, Senior Vice President of Programming and Distribution for Scholastic Media. “We’re pleased to be a part of this state-of-the-art educational content delivery solution.”
