INTERACTIVE
As the first third-party publisher ever to create software for the best-selling Leapster® Learning Game System, SE will adapt its critically acclaimed software title, I SPY™ Challenger, for this popular platform. The I SPY Challenger software for the Leapster handheld includes fast-paced games and I SPY riddles in which kids must search for cleverly hidden objects, and will hit retail shelves in October 2005.
 
Six delightful CD-ROMS and a Game Boy title translate the magic of the book series to the computer and console format. With nearly 2 million units sold, the series has been honored with more than 70 industry awards including the 2004 Parents’ Choice Gold Award, the prestigious Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award, Children’s Choice Award and the Milia D’Or Award for Best Children’s Software. The interactive product line is supported by a comprehensive national advertising and public relations campaign.

PUBLISHING
Best-selling and award winning, the I SPY book series continues to captivate kids of all ages! With more than 24 million books in print since its launch ten years ago, I SPY consists of 13 core titles, four TV tie-in books, five Scholastic Readers, and seven board books for younger readers.
 
Cleverly crafted rhyming riddles and dazzling photographic visions challenge treasure seekers to find objects hidden through the thematic pages. With a backdrop of intriguing photographic images, I SPY’s intrinsically interactive format fosters reading and visual discrimination skills.

HOME ENTERTAINMENT
HBO Home Video has released four VHS and four DVD to date.  A special gift set which includes all four DVDs is also available.  Each individual release includes six I SPY stories and DVDs include a Spanish language track and fun DVD-ROM games.

I SPY is fun to play on every platform including online at scholastic.com/ispy. The site is highly trafficked by I SPY fans with nearly 1 million page views per month. This fun-filled site for kids, parents, and teachers includes character-based games, play-along activities and info on the TV & book series.
 
TELEVISION
This animated, play-along interactive TV series inspired by the best-selling and fascinating book series airs on HBO Family.  Honored with a prestigious Daytime Emmy for “Outstanding Individual Achievement In Animation” as well as the 2004 Parents’ Choice Silver Honor Award, the program features two delightful characters, Spyler and CeCe, who lead young viewers through search and find adventures set in an imaginary world. Familiar objects take on entirely new meanings as children play the fun–filled games. The eclectic soundtrack musically complements the visual assortment of bright objects in the series, incorporating sounds made by everyday objects, further encouraging young viewers’ imaginations and engagement in the game. I SPY airs on HBO Family weekdays at 6:30 a.m.
