Scholastic Productions
SM 's television productions include
Clifford
The Big Red Dog®, which premiered to wide acclaim
on PBS KIDS™ in September 2000 and has consistently ranked
as the top-rated show on PBS KIDS™ as well as the #1 children's
series for ages 2–5 on network television. Accolades include
15 Daytime Emmy nominations, the 2001 Humanitas Prize, and several
Parents' Choice Awards, among many others. The Emmy award-winning, animated spin-off series,
Clifford's
Puppy Days™ , which chronicles Clifford’s
“puppyhood” before he became the biggest dog that
ever was, premiered to rave reviews on PBS KIDS in September 2003.
SM's series
I SPY™, based on the best-selling and fascinating
book series, debuted on HBO Family in 2002 and was honored with
a Daytime Emmy Award for "Individual Achievement in Animation"
as well as a Parents' Choice Award.
Maya
& Miguel™ launched in October 2004 and quickly
became the #1 new show on the new PBS KIDS GO! after-school programming
block for children ages five to nine. Based on an original concept
by SM president Deborah Forte,
Maya & Miguel™ is
part of a broad-based, multimedia Scholastic initiative designed
to entertain while presenting culture and language learning as
fun, relevant and rewarding for all children, with a special emphasis
on the Latino population. The critically acclaimed animated series
WordGirl™, which chronicles the adventures of Becky Botsford, fifth grader turned super hero who uses vocabulary to defeat quirky villains, premiered as a half-hour show on PBS KIDS GO! in September 2007.
Other highly successful television programming produced by SM includes the Emmy and Annenberg award-winning series The Magic School Bus®, starring Lily Tomlin and airing on TLC and Discovery Kids, the award-winning Dear America® and The Royal Diaries™ series, the award-winning, top-rated kids adventure series, Animorphs®, the groundbreaking kids phenomenon, Goosebumps®, and The Baby-sitters Club®. SE Distribution Inc.
SE Distribution Inc. serves as SM's internal specialty product manufacturer and distributor. Under the Sidekicks™ and Sidekicks™ BABY labels, the division creates and distributes unique, high quality children's merchandise, including plush toys and puzzles based on Scholastic franchises.
Soup2Nuts™
A cutting edge digital animation studio founded in 1994, Soup2Nuts offers full in-house production services, from creating original series, writing, recording and music composing to character design, animation, and post-production. The studio quickly established a reputation for successful and award-winning animated comedy with its first hit,

Interactive Products Group
The Interactive Products Group publishes and distributes children’s interactive learning products that promote learning through play. Most known for producing award-winning and best-selling CD-ROMs, the Group also develops such content as digital downloads, interactive DVDs, video games and electronic learning toys. Through Downloads2Go™, the Group produced the first web site offering full-version downloads of the most popular CD-ROM games for kids. In Fall 2007, the Group released two titles, I SPY Fun House and Scholastic Animal Genius, on the popular Nintendo DS handheld as well as Get Puzzled! for the Leapster® Learning Game System. The Group’s products are sold at retail outlets nationwide as well as through Scholastic’s Book Clubs, Book Fairs, and Click! Interactive Learning Club..
