A: Clifford's Puppy Days is a brand-new Clifford TV series, airing on PBS KIDS®! Learn more about the series in the "What's New" television section.
 
Q: Where can I buy Clifford books?
A: Try your local bookstore. You can find great books about Clifford The Big Red Dog wherever books are sold.
 
Q: Does Norman Bridwell have a dog named Clifford?
A: No. But he does have a daughter named Emily Elizabeth! Clifford is named after an imaginary friend that author Norman Bridwell's wife Norma had when she was a little girl.  
 
Q: What is Emily Elizabeth's last name?
A: Her last name is Howard. Like the name Clifford, Emily Elizabeth's last name was inspired by Norman Bridwell's wife Norma, whose maiden name is Howard.
 
Q: Where can I buy Clifford products?
A: Clifford products (toys, clothing, housewares, etc.) are now available at many retailers. You can also order Clifford products from the Scholastic Store in New York City! Call toll free 1-877-286-0137. Clifford CD-ROMS are available where software is sold. Clifford home videos are available wherever videos are sold, on-line and off.
 
Q: How old is Emily Elizabeth?
A: She's eight. Clifford's younger, but he's MUCH bigger!
 
Q: Who plays Clifford on TV?
A: For four years, John Ritter was the voice of Clifford on the Clifford The Big Red Dog TV series. (For more information, please see our special article, Remembering a Good Friend: A Tribute to John Ritter.) Lara J. Miller is the voice of puppy Clifford on the new Clifford's Puppy Days series.
 
Q: What happened to the old Clifford videos?
A: Clifford videos were first made over ten years ago, but they are no longer available. But, we are very excited about the all NEW Clifford videos and DVDs, containing favorite Clifford stories from the PBS KIDS® TV show. For more information on Clifford videos, click here.
 
Q: Where is Birdwell Island?
A: Birdwell Island is a made-up place! The island name was created by switching two letters of Normal Bridwell's last name.
 
Q: Can I join a Clifford Club?

Q: When is Clifford's Birthday?
A: Clifford's birthday is February 15th, the day after Valentine's Day! The first Clifford book was published in February, 1963.
 
Q: Help! I can't find Clifford party supplies!
A: There are Clifford party supplies in stores, but if you can't find them anywhere, try printing coloring pages from our site and using them as place mats! Or have fun coloring some yourselves and hang them around the room for decorations! And have your guests color their own at the party! You can find Clifford printable posters here: Make & Do
